Recipe :
Lentil Buns
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 5
1 masoor dal (soaked for 4 hours)
4 tbsp isabgol
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup yoghurt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp sunflower seeds
1 tsp poppy seeds
Method:
Blend together the drained masoor dal, yoghurt, isabgol, olive oil, lemon juice, baking powder & baking soda to a paste.
Shape into 5 balls and place on a baking sheet. Top with some seeds and bake at a temperature of 180C for 20 minutes till the buns are browned a little.
Remove . Cool well before serving.
