These healthy 100% whole wheat bread are made without added sugar or butter, and they can be dinner rolls and sandwich bread. Without kneading, this recipe is very easy to follow. The bread features surprisingly moist and soft.

100% Whole Wheat Bread
(8 servings)

Ingredients:
1/2 cup (120ml) warm milk
1+1/2 tsps (5g) instant yeast
1 + 2/3 cups (250g) whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp (2g) salt
1 egg
2 Tbsps (30g) grapeseed oil

(350F/180C) Bake 15 minutes

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C
2. In a bowl, add warm milk and instant yeast, and stir together. Then rest 5 minutes
3. In a separate bowl, add flour, salt, and stir together.
4. Add the egg, grape seed oil and yeast mixture to the flour mixture and mix together. Use the spatula to mix until it roughly becomes a dough
5. Cover and proof the dough for one hour, or until the dough doubled in size
6. After one hour, transfer the dough to a work surface. Gently deflate the dough.
7. Fold the dough couple times, and then shape the dough into a rectangle or round shape
8. Divide the dough into 8 pieces
9. Shape each piece into a small ball
10. Place dough balls in a 9” round cake pan
11. Second proof the dough for 45 minutes
12 . After 45 minutes, transfer the bread to the preheated oven, (350F/180C), bake for 15 minutes; or until golden brown on top.
13. Remove the bread from the oven, and after 2 or 3 minutes, carefully transfer them to a rack.
14. Serve warm, or at room temperature.

* warm milk approximately 105 F/40 C
