Ingredients for Soft Barley Bread:

250 g bread flour (all-purpose works too)

50 g barley flour (I used whole barley flour)
(If it has coarse bran, be sure to sift it)

200–205 g water (add a little more if needed)

25 g oil

5 g instant yeast

6 g salt

How to Make Fluffy Barley Bread:

1. Mix the dry ingredients, then add oil and water.

2. Knead until the dough becomes soft and smooth.

3. Let it rest for 1 hour at room temperature.

4. Shape into a ball, rest for another 5 minutes, then roll it out to about 30 cm in diameter on a baking tray.

5. Let it rise for another 30 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven at 230°C (446°F) for 12–15 minutes.

💡 Tip: For extra soft bread, keep your oven hot (230–250°C) and bake for no more than 13–15 minutes.
💯 Note: Don’t use more than this amount of barley flour, or the bread will become heavy and dense.
