Flapjacks Makes 20
Ingredients
906g oats (ordinary porridge oats is fine)
626g butter / marg
312g Castor sugar
300g Sun – Pat Peanut Butter
120g Golden Syrup
Instructions
Gently heat the butter, syrup and sun-pat together in a microwave until the butter has melted and has dissolved.
Add in sugar and the oats into bowl. Stir well to ensure that the oats are completely coated, mix on 1st speed for 1 min.
Grease and line a 12in x 16in cake tray (or similar) with baking paper. Spoon the mixture into the tin and press it down.
Bake at 350 f for 20-25 minutes until the flapjack starts to brown and the centre is still springy.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before removing from the tin. Peel off the paper and cut into squares using a sharp knife while still warm, then leave to cool completely.
