Ingredients
– 300g Paneer (cottage cheese) – thin slices
– 7-8 tbsp Fresh Cream
– 2 tbsp Chopped Fresh Coriander
– 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Garlic
– 1 tsp Chaat Masala
– 1 tsp Garlic Powder
– 1 tsp Oregano Seasoning
– 1 tsp Chilli Flakes (add more for extra spice)
– ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
– Cloves (for flavour)
– Butter (for greasing)
– Mozzarella Cheese or regular cheese (for topping)
Step-by-Step Recipe
1. Steam the Paneer
– Place paneer slices in a steamer.
– If you don’t have a steamer, use a clay pot with water at the bottom, place a plate on top, and steam.
– Steaming makes paneer soft and easy to roll without breaking.
2. Prepare the Sauce
– Mix cream, chopped coriander, garlic, chaat masala, garlic powder, oregano, chilli flakes, and black pepper.
– No cooking needed – just blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Roll the Paneer
– Take a slice of steamed paneer, spread the prepared sauce evenly, and roll it up gently.
4. Add Flavour
– Place rolls in an oven dish greased with butter. Insert cloves for extra aroma.
5. Cooking Options:
– Oven: Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.
– Pan: On low flame, grease a cast iron pan with butter, place rolls, cover, and cook slowly. Flip carefully to avoid breaking.
6. Finish & Serve
– Top with mozzarella or regular cheese. Serve hot for the best taste!
