Detox Salad Recipe/ Healthy Dinner
Eating salads can be a healthy way to support your body’s natural detoxification process. Salads are rich in antioxidants that help neutralize toxins. Their high-fiber ingredients, such as kale, arugula, and lentils, support digestive health and elimination.
Today, I’m making a hearty salad for dinner that’s full of nutritional benefits, has anti-inflammatory properties, and is so delicious.
1 cup of lentils soaked in water for a minimum of two hours.
Then boil in water for approximately 30 minutes until tender.
Drain and let cool.
I like to chop my greens but of course you don’t have to.
1-2 handfuls of arugula
1-2 handfuls of kale
1-2 handfuls of organic broccoli slaw
1 ripe mango, chopped
1 apple, chopped
1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds chopped
1 cucumber, chopped
1 carrot, peeled or chopped
1 inch piece of ginger, grated
1 inch piece of turmeric, grated
1-4 tablespoons of lentils
Dressing (or use your favorite)
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of coconut aminos
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
