These Pedas are the perfect festive treat for Janmashtami 🌸

Makes: 10 | Time: 15 mins

🟢 Ingredients

For the Peda
½ cup roasted chana, peeled
½ cup deseeded dates
1 tbsp beetroot juice
½ tsp cardamom powder

For Topping
1 tsp finely chopped pistachios
Few dry rose petals

🟢 Method

1. Grind roasted chana into a fine powder, sieve, and transfer to a mixing bowl.

2. Blend dates into a smooth paste and add to the bowl with beetroot juice and cardamom.

3. Mix with hands to form a dough.

4. Divide into 10 portions, shape into balls and press gently with the back of a strainer to form pedas.

5. Garnish with pistachios and rose petals. Serve & enjoy! 🌿
