🥗 Ingredients
For Dough:
• Wheat flour – 2 cups
• Ajwain – ½ tsp
• Salt – ½ tsp
• Beetroot juice – as required (for kneading)
For Stuffing:
• Paneer (grated) – 1 cup
• Boiled potato – 1 (medium, grated)
• Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
• Green chillies – 1-2 (finely chopped)
• Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp (chopped)
• Salt – to taste
For Tadka:
• Mustard oil – 1 tsp
• Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
• Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
👩🍳 Recipe
1. In a bowl, knead wheat flour with ajwain, salt & beetroot juice into a soft dough.
2. For stuffing, mix grated paneer, boiled potato, chopped onion, coriander, green chillies & salt.
3. Prepare tadka by heating mustard oil and adding cumin & mustard seeds. Add this tadka to the stuffing and mix well.
4. Roll out dough, spread a generous amount of stuffing evenly on the roti, then roll it tightly and cut into small pieces. Flatten each piece gently as shown in the video.
5. Cook on tawa with little oil/ghee until golden and crisp.
6. Serve hot with your favourite chutney.
