Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup
– ½ cup pumpkin purée
– ¾ cup water
– ¼ cup pure maple syrup
– 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
– 1 tsp vanilla extract (add after cooking)

1. In a small saucepan, combine pumpkin purée, water, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice.
2. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Cook for 10-12 minutes, until slightly thickened.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
5. Let cool, then store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 7 days. Shake before using.
