Bake wholesome whole wheat bread at home 🌾🍞💖! Packed with fiber, full of nutrition, and free from preservatives, this homemade bread is perfect for a heart-healthy lifestyle 🏡💪

INGREDIENTS
– 1/2 Cup Warm Water (≈120ml)
– 2 Tsp Sugar ( 8 g)
– 2 Tsp Active Dry Yeast (6 g)
– 2 & 1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour (280 g)
– 1 & 1/2 Tsp Salt (9 g)
– 2 Tbsp Milk Powder (16 g)
– 1 Cup Water (240 ml)
– 1 Tbsp Oil (15 ml)

METHOD
– Mix sugar and warm water until sugar gets dissolved. Add active dry yeast and mix well. Cover and set aside for activation for 10-15 minutes.
– ⁠Mix whole wheat flour, salt and milk powder. Add the yeast mixture, oil and 240 ml water. Knead well for 10-15 minutes for gluten development. If using, stand mixer or hand beater with dough hook attachment, knead for 5-7 minutes.
– Add a little oil and fold to form a dough ball. Cover and rest till the dough doubles in size.
– ⁠After the dough doubles in size, deflate it and use some oil to make a flat thick sheet using a rolling pin. Make a roll of this dough and add to a greased baking tin.
– ⁠Preheat oven at 200°C for 10 minutes and bake the bread for 35-40 minutes.
– ⁠After baking, remove it immediately from the mold and cover with a cloth to cool down for around 2 hours.
– ⁠Slice and serve the way you like! Enjoy!
