This Spicy Hung Curd Sandwich is super healthy, flavorful, and perfect for breakfast, lunchbox, or evening snacks 💚
🧂 Ingredients:
• 1 cup hung curd (thick strained curd/dahi)
• ½ cup finely chopped cucumber
• ½ cup grated carrot
• ¼ cup chopped capsicum
• ¼ cup finely chopped onion 🧅
• 1–2 tbsp chopped coriander
• 1 green chilli (optional)
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper – ¼ tsp
• Chaat masala – ½ tsp
• Cumin powder (jeera powder) – ¼ tsp
• Oregano – ½ tsp
• Chilli flakes – ½ tsp
• Peri Peri masala – ½ tsp
• Bread slices – 4 (brown or multigrain preferred)
• Butter or ghee – for toasting
🥣 Method:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine hung curd, cucumber, carrot, capsicum, onion, coriander, and green chilli.
2. Add salt, pepper, chaat masala, cumin powder, oregano, chilli flakes, and peri peri masala.
3. Mix everything till you get a creamy, spicy filling.
4. Spread the mixture evenly on a slice of bread and cover with another.
5. Toast or grill with butter/ghee until golden brown and crisp.
6. Cut and serve hot with chutney or ketchup! 😋
💚 Tips:
• Make sure your curd is thick (hang it for 2–3 hours).
• Add grated paneer or corn for a protein boost.
