INGREDIENTS
– 3/4 cup (90g) Ragi/Nachni Flour
– 3/4 cup (3.6g) Baking Powder
– 1/8 tsp (0.6g) Baking Soda
– A pinch of Salt
– 1/4 cup (60ml) Ghee
– 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp (60g) Jaggery/Gud
– 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) Vanilla Essence
– 2 tbsp (30ml) Milk
METHOD
– Mix ragi flour (Finger millet flour), baking powder, soda and a pinch of salt well. Set this aside.
– Add ghee, jaggery, vanilla essence to a bowl and whisk. Add milk and whisk till the mixture becomes smooth and fluffy. Now add the ragi flour mix. Gently mix to form cookie dough of piping consistency.
– Transfer this mixture to a piping bag with star nozzle. Pipe rose shaped cookies on your baking tray lined with silicone mat or parchment paper.
– Preheat oven at 160°C for 10 minutes and bake for 14-15 minutes.
– Let the cookies down. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
