🧾 Recipe: Makhana & Lauki Parathas

🥬 Ingredients
Lauki (bottle gourd) – 1 cup (grated)
Makhana – ½ cup
Green chilli – 1
Garlic – 4–5 cloves
Whole wheat flour – 1 cup
Besan – 1 tbsp
Haldi – ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Chopped coriander – 2 tbsp
Dahi – 1 tbsp
Ghee – 1 tsp + for cooking

👩‍🍳 Method

1️⃣ Roast makhana till crisp, then grind with green chilli & garlic into a coarse mix.
2️⃣ Combine grated lauki, makhana mix, flour, besan, and all spices.
3️⃣ Add dahi & ghee, knead a soft dough; rest 10–15 minutes.
4️⃣ Roll small parathas, cook on hot tawa with ghee till golden brown on both sides.
5️⃣ Cut into bite-sized squares for tiffin and serve with chutney or curd.
