To make Beetroot Egg Sabji
Beetroot – 3 Nos
Egg -2 Nos
Sesame Oil – 2 Tbsp
Urad Dal – 1 Tsp
Chana Dal – 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
Red Chilli
Ginger Garlic Paste
Curry Leaves
Hing / Asafoetida – 1/4 Tsp
Onion – 1 No.
Green Chilli – 5 Nos
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Pepper – 1/4 Tsp
Chilli Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Water – 1/2 Cup
Salt – 1 1/2 Tsp
Coriander Leaves
Method
1. Pour Gingely oil in a pan and add urad dal, channa dal,
mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
2. Next add dry chillies, garlic, curry leaves and asafoetida
powder and mix.
3. Then add onions and green chillies and saute for 1 minute.
4. Add chopped beetroot and mix well.
5. Then add water and salt and let it cook for 10 minutes.
6. Pour oil in the middle of the same pan and add egg,
turmeric powder, pepper powder, chilli powder and salt and
mix it.
7. Once the egg is cooked, mix it with the beetroot. Finally
add coriander leaves.
8. Delicious Beetroot Egg Fry is ready to be served.
