Methi Mathri Recipe
Ingredients :
Whole wheat Flour – 2 cups
Chickpea Flour – 1/2 cup
Freshly Chopped Methi or Kasuri Methi – 3-4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil – 1/4 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Carom Seeds – 1 tsp
Baking Powder – 1/4 tsp
Method :
In a large bowl add all the dry ingredients ( mention above ) and knead a stiff dough
Rest it for 15 minutes
Knead again for 5 minutes and pinch a small ball out of it
Then roll this into a thin round shape roti
Prick it with fork and cut them in desired shape
Pre Heat the oven for 10 minutes on 180 degree Celsius
In a per-heated oven bake them for 10 minutes
Flip them and bake again for 10 minutes on 180 degree Celsius
