🥪 No Bread Dahi Suji Sandwich
🥣 Sandwich Batter
1½ cup Suji (Rava)
½ cup Dahi (Yogurt)
Add a little water if needed to make a smooth, thick batter
Mix well and rest for 10 minutes
🥕 Veggie Filling (for Dahi filling)
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp garlic (chopped)
1 tsp ginger (chopped)
1 tsp jeera
A pinch of hing
1 medium onion, chopped
½ capsicum, chopped
Sauté the veggies lightly
Add 1 tbsp green chilli
1 small carrot, grated or chopped
1 tbsp jeera powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp chaat masala
Salt to taste
Add fresh coriander leaves and mix well
🥄 Dahi Filling
½ cup thick dahi (remove extra water)
Add the sautéed veggie mix
1 tsp sugar
Lemon juice (to taste)
Mix well
⚡ To Cook the Sandwich
After resting the suji batter, add salt to taste.
Add 1 packet Eno, mix gently with a splash of water.
Grease the sandwich maker with a little oil.
Pour a layer of suji batter at the bottom.
Spread dahi filling evenly.
Cover with another layer of suji batter.
Cook in the sandwich maker until golden brown and crisp.
🌿 Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
✨ Soft inside, crispy outside — healthy and bread-free!
