Make this delicious Palak Paneer at home — soft paneer cubes cooked in a flavorful spinach gravy. This recipe is simple, healthy, and full of authentic Indian taste. Perfect for lunch or dinner with roti, naan, or rice. 💚

Ingredients:

Spinach (Palak) – 200–250 g
Paneer – 200 g
Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)
Tomato – 1 medium (chopped)
Curd – 2 tbsp
Oil – 4 tbsp (divided)
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric – ½ tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Black pepper powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Water – as required

Method:

– Boil 3 cups water.
– Add 200–250 g spinach & cook 2–3 min on medium flame.
– Transfer to iced water, squeeze out water & grind into smooth paste.
– Heat 2 tbsp oil.
– Fry 200 g paneer cubes 2–3 min on low-medium flame. Remove & set aside.
– In same pan add 2 tbsp oil.
– Add ½ tsp cumin seeds, let them splutter.
– Add 2 finely chopped onions, cook 6–8 min till golden.
– Add 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, cook 2 min on low flame.
– Add 1 chopped tomato, salt to taste, cook 3–4 min on medium flame.
– Add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp cumin powder, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp coriander powder & 1 tsp red chilli powder.
– Cook 2–3 min on low flame till oil separates.
– Add 2 tbsp water, cook 1 min.
– Add 2 tbsp curd, cook 3–4 min on low flame stirring continuously till oil separates.
– Add spinach paste, cook 3–4 min on medium flame.
– Add 1 cup water, let it come to boil.
– Add fried paneer cubes & ½ tsp garam masala.
– Cover & cook 4–5 min on low flame.
– Add 2 tbsp grated paneer (optional cream).
– Enjoy hot with roti or rice.
