Ingredients (Samagri):
1 cup chopped almonds (badam)
1 cup chopped cashews (kaju)
½ cup chopped pistachios (pista)
½ cup raisins (kishmish)
1 cup grated jaggery (gud)
3 tbsp pure ghee
2 tbsp melon seeds (magaz)
½ tsp cardamom powder (elaichi)
For Green Filling:
½ cup desiccated coconut
2 tbsp pistachio paste or green food essence
1 tbsp condensed milk
Method (Vidhi):
Heat pure ghee in a kadhai and lightly roast all dry fruits until golden brown.
Add grated jaggery and stir till it melts completely.
Mix cardamom powder, turn off the flame, and let the mixture cool slightly.
Prepare the green paste by mixing desiccated coconut, pistachio paste, and condensed milk.
Make small balls of green mixture and keep aside.
Take a portion of dry fruit mixture, flatten it on your palm, place green filling in the center, and shape into a big laddu.
Place all laddus neatly in a plate.
Break one laddu to reveal the beautiful green center.
Finally, pour warm ghee over all laddus for that glossy finish.
