No Sugar, No Jaggery, No Dates Delicious Cake Recipe…



A wholesome and naturally sweet treat šŸŽāœØ! This soft and moist apple cake is made with red apples — no sugar, no jaggery, no dates, and no maida — perfect for guilt-free indulgence šŸ˜‹šŸ°

INGREDIENTS
Apple Sauce:
– 500 gm Apple
– 1 Lemon

Cake
– 1 Cup Fine Sooji/Semolina
– 1 Tsp Baking Powder
– 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
– 1/4 Cup Ghee
– 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
– 1 & 1/4 Cup Prepared Apple Sauce
– Honey to Taste (Optional)
– 1 Tsp Cocoa Powder (Optional)

METHOD
– Peel and chop apples and add lemon juice. Cover and cook till apples get soft. Let the mixture cool down and blend to a puree.
– ⁠To the fine sooji/rava, add baking powder and soda. Mix well and set aside.
– ⁠Add ghee to a bowl and add apple sauce. Mix till well combined. Add sooji mix and beat till you get a smooth batter.
– ⁠Transfer to a greased 6ā€ cake tin.
– ⁠Preheat your pan with some salt at medium flame for 10 minutes. Then place a stand and keep the mold on it. Cover and bake at medium flame for first 10 minutes and then lower the flame and bake for another 35-40 min. Insert a toothpick or knife in the centre of the cake, if it comes out clean, the cake is cooked.
– ⁠Let it cool down and remove from the mold.
– ⁠Apply a thin layer of honey and dust some cocoa powder. You may even add a cake topper as perĀ theĀ occasion.
