🍳 Egg Fried Rice (Quick & Tasty)
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked rice (preferably cold)
2 eggs
1 small onion (chopped)
1 small carrot (finely chopped) – optional
Green peas – optional
2-3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
1-2 green chillies (optional)
1-2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oil/butter
Salt as per taste
Spring onion or coriander for garnish
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan/wok.
2. Add chopped garlic & green chilli → sauté for a few seconds.
3. Add onions and cook until slightly soft.
4. Add carrots & peas → cook 2-3 minutes.
5. Push veggies to one side → crack the eggs on the empty side.
6. Scramble eggs until slightly cooked.
7. Add cooked rice → mix everything well.
8. Add soy sauce and salt → toss on high flame for 1 minute.
9. Garnish with spring onion or coriander.
