🧂 Ingredients

Bread slices – 4
Palak (spinach) purée – ½ cup
Eggs – 2
Bread crumbs – ½ cup
Salt – to taste
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Oil / butter – for cooking

👩‍🍳 Process

Blanch spinach and grind to a smooth palak purée.
In a bowl, beat eggs lightly.
Add palak purée, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Spread this mixture evenly on one side of bread slices.
Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and gently press.
Heat a pan with little oil or butter.
Place bread with coated side down and cook till golden.
Flip and toast the other side till crisp.
Cut and serve hot with chutney or sauce.
