👩‍🍳 Recipe – Moong Dal Appe
Ingredients:
1 cup moong dal (soaked overnight)
1–2 green chillies
3–4 garlic cloves
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 small tomato (finely chopped)
½ cup carrot (grated)
½ cup green capsicum (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
½ tsp red chilli powder
Oil for greasing
Method:
Drain soaked moong dal and grind it with green chilli & garlic into a smooth paste.
Transfer batter to a bowl.
Add onion, tomato, carrot, capsicum, salt & red chilli powder. Mix well.
Heat an appe pan and grease lightly with oil.
Pour batter into the cavities.
Cover and cook on low flame till golden.
Flip and cook the other side until crisp.
Serve hot with green chutney or curd.
