🫓 Paneer Stuffed Paratha (Atta)
Ingredients
For dough
2 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
Salt to taste
Water (as needed)
1 tsp oil (optional)
For paneer stuffing
1 cup grated paneer
1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
1–2 green chilies, finely chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp red chili powder
½ tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
½ tsp lemon juice or amchur powder
For cooking
Ghee or oil
Method
Prepare dough
Mix atta and salt. Add water little by little and knead into a soft dough. Add oil if using. Cover and rest for 15–20 minutes.
Make stuffing
In a bowl, mix grated paneer, onion, green chilies, coriander, spices, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Shape paratha
Divide dough into equal balls.
Roll one ball into a small disc.
Place 2–3 tbsp paneer stuffing in the center.
Bring edges together and seal.
Gently flatten and roll into a medium-thick paratha.
Cook paratha
Heat a tawa. Place paratha on it and cook on medium flame.
Flip, apply ghee/oil, and cook both sides until golden brown spots appear.
Serving Suggestions
Serve hot with curd, butter, pickle, or green chutney 🧈🥣
