Roasted Masala Nuts | Healthy Evening Snack
A crunchy, protein-rich snack made with makhana and mixed nuts—perfect for tea time or guilt-free munching.
Ingredients:
2 cups makhana (fox nuts)
½ cup peanuts
½ cup almonds
½ cup cashews
½ cup pistachios
½ cup ghee (approx, used in stages)
1 tsp crushed black pepper
1.5 tsp roasted jeera powder
1 tsp chilli powder
Salt to taste
Method:
– Dry roast makhana on low flame for ~5 mins until crisp. Remove and set aside.
– In the same pan, dry roast peanuts, almonds, cashews, and pistachios separately until golden. Keep aside.
– Heat ghee on a low flame. Add crushed pepper, roasted jeera powder, chilli powder, and salt.
– Add roasted makhana and nuts. Toss well to coat evenly.
– Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
