INGREDIENTS

For the Salad:
1 cup boiled chana (chole)
1 tsp oil
Haldi (turmeric)
Red chilli powder
Coriander powder
Jeera (cumin) powder
Salt to taste
Finely chopped cucumber
Finely chopped tomato
Finely chopped carrot

For the Chutney (Salad Topping):
Fresh coriander leaves
Mint leaves
Green chilli
2–3 garlic cloves (optional)
Dahi (curd)

RECIPE

Heat oil in a pan and add the boiled chana.
Add haldi, red chilli powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, and salt.
Roast the chana well until flavorful.
In a bowl, add chopped cucumber, tomato, and carrot.
Add the roasted chana and mix well.

For the chutney:
6. In a grinder, add coriander, mint, green chilli, garlic (optional), and dahi.
7. Blend into a smooth paste.

Top the salad with this creamy chutney.
