Ingredients
Rice – 1 Cup
Chana Dal – 3/4 Cup
Toor Dal – 1/4 Cup (Video has typing error, it’s NOT Masoor Dal)
Urad Dal – 1/3 Cup
Methi Seeds – 1/4 tsp
Curd – 2 tbsp
Lauki – 1/2 Cup
Carrot – 1/2 Cup
Green Chilli – 1
Ginger – 1/2 Inch
Coriander Leaves – 1/4 Cup
Salt – to taste
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tbsp
Haldi – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Sesame Seeds – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – as required
Steps
➡️ Soak rice, dals and methi seeds for 5–6 hours.
➡️ Blend using little water. Mix batter with hands, cover and ferment overnight in a warm place.
➡️ Next morning add curd and mix once.
➡️ Add veggies, spices, ginger, chilli and fresh coriander leaves.
➡️ Mix everything well.
➡️ Heat oil, add tadka, then pour batter.
➡️ Cover and cook on low flame until the top sets.
➡️ Flip and cook the other side till crisp and golden.
➡️ Serve with chutney or dip of your choice.
