Garlic Rice | Instant Flavorful Comfort Food

🛒 Ingredients

• Cooked rice – 2 cups
• Garlic cloves – 10 to 12
• Dry red chillies – 3 to 4
• Salt – to taste
• Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Chana dal – 1 tsp
• Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
• Curry leaves – few

👩‍🍳 Making Process

1️⃣ In a stone grinder or mixer, add garlic, red chillies, salt, and turmeric powder. Grind into a coarse paste.

2️⃣ Heat oil in a pan. Add chana dal, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them crackle.

3️⃣ Add the garlic paste, mix well, and turn off the stove immediately to retain aroma.

4️⃣ Add cooked rice and mix gently.

5️⃣ Turn the stove back on and sauté for 2 minutes.

6️⃣ Switch off and serve hot perfect for cold weather ❄️🔥
