How to make the BEST healthy banana bread
We LOVE banana bread in our house. We also have a toddler and have tried to replace the sugar in most of our baking recipes for his sake. You can use maple syrup or honey as your sugar replacement. This recipe also uses coconut oil instead of butter or vegetable oil. You can also replace white flour for whole wheat flour.

Recipe for Healthy Banana Bread:
Ingredients:
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey)
2 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas
1/4 cup milk (OR water)1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups flour (of your choice)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare your loaf pan (we like to line ours with parchment paper).
2. In a large bowl whisk together melted oil and your sugar replacement. Add eggs and beat until well combined.
3. Mash together bananas and milk (or water) until well combined.
4. Add banana mixture, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract to your oil mixture and whisk until well combined.
5. If you’re using your KitchenAid mixture, change from the whisk attachment to the paddle attachment. Doing it by hand? Use a spoon to stir in your flour. Make sure you mix until JUST combined. Lumps are totally fine!
6. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes. You’ll know your banana bread is ready when you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
7. Let your banana bread cool for 10 minutes before cutting in. Enjoy!
