Semolina (Rava) Fried Prawns
Semolina (rava) fried prawns, prawns marinated with spice powders and tamarind pulp, coated with semolina and shallow fried
Ingredients:
250g Prawns
1 tsp. Red Chilli Powder
½ tsp. Turmeric Powder
1 tsp. Tamarind Pulp
Cooking Oil
Salt to Taste
Semolina (for coating)
Serves: 3 -4
Preparation Time: 20 mins
Crispy Fried Prawns
Marinated prawns, coated in flour mixture and egg and deep fried until crispy
Ingredients:
300g Large Prawns (peeled & deveined, leaving tail intact)
¼ cup Cornflour
¼ cup Plain Flour
½ tsp. Ginger/Garlic Paste
½ tsp. Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp. Soy Sauce
1 Egg
Cooking Oil
Salt to Taste
Serves: 3 -4
Preparation Time: 20 mins
Prawn Stuffed Pappadum (Papad)
Stuffed Pappadum or Papad roll is a quick, instant appetiser, it is a very light and crispy snack, made with prawn mixture stuffed in pappadum and deep-fried
Ingredients:
12 Large Pappadums [Papads]
250g Prawns (peeled, deveined & finely chopped)
1 ½ cups Onion
4 Tbsp. Recheado Masala* [Recipe:
2 tsp. Sugar
Cooking Oil
Salt to taste
Serves: 5 -6
Preparation Time: 20 mins
