👉 Potato Masala Preparation
Start by heating a pan on high flame. Once the pan is hot, add 2 tbsp oil and a pinch of mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add 1–2 chopped green chillies and ¼ cup green peas, and sauté for a minute. Then add 4–5 boiled medium potatoes and mix well.
👉 Season with
salt to taste,
1 tsp ginger,
¼ tsp turmeric powder,
½ tsp coriander powder,
½ tsp garam masala, and
¼ tsp asafoetida.
Mix everything thoroughly.
Mash the mixture using a potato masher and cook on medium heat for about 2 minutes.
Finish by adding 1 tsp lemon juice and a small handful of fresh coriander leaves. Mix well.
Your sandwich masala is now ready.
👉 Sandwich Assembly
Take a bread slice and spread butter and green chutney evenly.
Add a layer of potato masala, followed by onion slices, a sprinkle of sandwich masala, tomato slices, capsicum slices, and cheese.
Cover with another bread slice spread with butter and chutney.
Heat the toaster or pan and apply butter as needed. Place the sandwich and toast for 2–3 minutes on each side until it turns crispy and golden brown.
Finish by topping with a little butter, green chutney, and nylon sev.
