Creamy Mushroom Pasta Recipe:

To Cook Pasta:

Penne Pasta – 1 Cup
Water – 750 ml
Salt – ¼ tsp
Oil – 1 tsp

Mushroom Sauce:

Butter – 2 tsp + 2 tsp
Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 clove
Onion (finely chopped) – 1 no
Mushroom (chopped) – ½ Cup
Maida – 2 tsp
Milk – ½ Cup
Cheddar Cheese – 2 tbsp
Salt – To Taste
Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
Dried Oregano – ¼ tsp

Cooking Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta for 9 mins (or as per the instructions in the pack) in boiling water with salt. Once the pasta cooks, add 1 tsp of oil to prevent the pasta from sticking to each other.

2. Heat 2 tsp butter in a pan, add garlic, onion and saute for a minute.

3. Add the chopped mushrooms and saute till they shrink and cook.

4. Add maida to the pan and mix.

5. Add milk and stir well.

6. Add grated cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.

7. Cook until the mixture thickens.

8. Grind this mixture into a smooth paste.

9. In another pan, add 2 tsp butter.

10. Pour the prepared and pureed mushroom sauce, oregano, and cooked pasta.

11. Simmer for a minute.

Garlic Bread:

Butter – 2 tbsp
Garlic (finely chopped) – 2 cloves
Dried Oregano – ¼ tsp
Salt – A pinch
Bread – 3 Slices

Cooking Instructions:

1. Take softened butter in a bowl, add the salt, dried oregano, and finely chopped garlic and mix.
2. Apply butter on both sides of the bread slice.
3. In a tawa, toast the bread.
