Healthy dinner bowl ready in 30 mins.
Recipe below-
1/2 cup yellow moong dal
1/2 cup mix quinoa or you can use any quinoa
Onions, chopped
Tomatoes, chopped
Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds
Green chillies
Salt
Red chilli powder
Turmeric powder
Dhania powder
Coriander leaves
Carrot, chopped
Green beans, chopped
Method-
Rinse the dal and quinoa 3-4 times.
Add fresh water and keep it aside.
Heat ghee or oil in a pressure cooker on medium flame.
Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chillies and let them splutter.
Add chopped onionsand saute until they become soft.
Add tomatoes, cook until tomatoes soften.
Add diced carrots and green beans.
Add salt, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder. Mix well.
Drain the soaked dal and quinoa, then add them to the cooker.
Pour 4 cups of water. Close the lid and cook for 3-4 whistles.
Let the steam go naturally. Open the lid, add some coriander leaves.
Serve in a plate and squeeze some lemon juice on the top.
