Happy Holi !!
Holi Festival is around the corner and here is the treat to healthy food seekers! Ingredients:
Spinach : 2 cups(60 gm)
Peas(boiled) : 1/4 cup(42 gm)
Green Chili : 1 no
Coriander leaves : 1/4 cup
Oil : 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
Ginger(chopped) : 1tsp
Garlic(chopped) : 1 tsp
Corn flour : 1 tbsp
Potato(mashed) : 1 medium size
Salt : 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder : 1/2 tsp
Dried Fenugreek : 1/2 tsp
Oil to shallow fry
Bread crumbs (Optional)
Chopped Dryfruits (Optional)

Steps :

– Blanch the spinach by putting it into boiling water for about 2 minutes and then transfer into chilled water.
– Sqeeze out all the excess water from spinach.
– Blend squeezed spinach, peas, coriander leaves and green chili together and make a fine paste.
– In a pan, add oil, cumin seeds, chopped ginger and garlic and saute these for a minute until turns brown.
– Add paste of spinach and sauté it on high heat for about 3 minutes or until it comes together.
– Let it gets slightly cool down.
– In this spinach paste, add Corn flour, potato, salt, coriander powder and dry fenugreek.
– Combine all together and add some dry fruits. Make a ball shape structure.
– Dip these in bread crumbs(can be skipped) and shallow fry these kababs.
– Once these are golden brown from both sides, Kababs are ready to be served.
– Enjoy healthy snacks.
