Cabbage salad
Ingredients
1 kilo whole cabbage, finely shredded
2–3 carrots, shredded
4–5 cherry or Roma tomatoes, diced
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 lime, squeezed
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the salad by shredding the cabbage using a mandolin or knife.
Toss the cabbage in a big bowl. Sprinkle with a generous pinch of salt and massage until the cabbage softens.
Shred the carrots and dice the tomatoes, then add them to the bowl.
Drizzle with vinegar and freshly squeezed lime juice, then toss until everything’s coated. Season with pepper to taste.
Chill for a bit to let the flavors mingle, then serve solo or with quesadillas and sour cream. Fresh, crisp, and tangy, perfect for any meal! The longer it soaks, the stronger it taste 🥬🥕🍅
