Hi guys,

In this video, I show you guys how to make this healthy version of banana bread. It is super simple and easy, if you have some really ripe bananas lying around then you should definitely give this a go! You can add nuts or other spices to depending on what you like. I kept it to just bananas this time but I think I added too many, as the bananas kinda weighed the mixture down and it sunk to the bottom. So add 2 bananas if they are really ripen, or add an extra half to get that full banana taste.

This banana bread is so tasty yet healthy as I use coconut oil, honey and wholewheat flour instead of butter, sugar and white flour. You can’t taste the coconut oil if you don’t like that coconut taste.

HEALTHY BANANA BREAD INGREDIENTS:

2-3 ripen bananas
1/4 almond milk
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup honey
2 eggs
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup wholewheat self raising flour

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
– Add a bit of peanut butter to the slice (peanut butter and banana goes so well together!)
– serve with warm custard, OMG this was heaven… reminded me of bread pudding, you can’t go wrong with custard
