High Protein Black Chickpea Salad | Healthy Weight Loss Salad

Ingredients:

* 1½ cups cooked black chickpeas (kala chana)
* 1 cup cucumber, chopped
* 1 cup cabbage, chopped
* ¾ cup carrot, chopped
* 1 cup pomegranate seeds
* Handful of peanuts

Dressing:

* 3 tbsp tamarind pulp/chutney
* 2 tbsp orange juice
* 1 tsp chaat masala
* Salt to taste
* Lemon juice (optional)

Recipe:
Soak black chickpeas overnight and pressure cook until tender. Let them cool completely.

In a large bowl, add black chickpeas, cucumber, cabbage, carrot, pomegranate seeds, and peanuts.

Mix tamarind pulp, orange juice, chaat masala, and salt in a small bowl. Pour over the salad and mix well.

Add lemon juice if desired and serve fresh & chilled.
