Here the method of preparation of the Snake gourd Ash gourd Yogurt Stew is given
Ingredients
200 gms of Ash gourd cut into pieces
200 gms of Snake gourd cut into pieces
100 ml of yogurt
2 Green chillies
A quarter spoon of Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
15 shallots cut into pieces
25 gms of ginger cut into pieces
25 gms of garlic cut into pieces
500 ml of water
10 ml of oil
Preparation
Heat the pan and pour in 10 ml of oil.Put in the shallots ,garlic and ginger and saute till golden brown. Add the green chillies and saute. Add the snake gourd pieces and saute and mix. Add the turmeric powder and salt and mix thoroughly. Add the ash gourd pieces and saute and mix. Pour in the water and mix well. Cook for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes put the mixture on simmer. Add the yogurt . Mix thoroughly. Take off the flame and serve
