Here’s a simple Cinnamon, Egg, Nescafé & Honey Milk Recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) fresh milk
1 egg (preferably pasteurized or fully cooked for food safety)
1 teaspoon Nescafé (instant coffee)
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1–2 teaspoons honey (adjust to taste)
Optional: 1–2 ice cubes (for a cold shake)
Method (Hot Version)
Heat the milk until warm, but do not boil.
In a mug, dissolve the Nescafé with 1 tablespoon of hot water.
If using a raw egg, whisk it thoroughly and temper it by slowly adding a little warm milk while whisking. Alternatively, use a pasteurized egg or cook the egg separately for better food safety.
Add the coffee mixture, cinnamon, and egg to the warm milk.
Stir or blend until smooth.
Let the drink cool slightly, then stir in the honey (adding honey to very hot milk can reduce some of its flavor and aroma).
Serve warm.
Cold Shake Version
Use chilled milk.
Blend together:
1 cup chilled milk
1 pasteurized egg
1 teaspoon Nescafé
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1–2 teaspoons honey
A few ice cubes
Blend for 30–45 seconds until frothy and serve immediately.
Tips
A pinch of vanilla or cocoa powder can add extra flavor.
If you’re sensitive to caffeine, use ½ teaspoon Nescafé.
If using raw eggs, use pasteurized eggs to reduce the risk of foodborne illness. If pasteurized eggs aren’t available, cook the egg before adding it to the drink.
