Canned.
Frozen.
Dried.
Sometimes fresh just isn’t an option and that’s totally ok! Remember, the “secret” to eating healthy is so much more about what you’re not eating (added sugar, food dyes, scary chemicals, GMO…). These days, so many items that you can get in the frozen or canned aisle are steamed or flash frozen within a couple hours of picking — so go for it! Keep these around as a viable option.
