Tasty Twisted Tales presents Beetroot and potato salad which is a healthy and delicious recipe which is very easy to make. Beetroot is a root vegetable that contains important nutrients. Studies state its benefits in lowering blood pressure, boosting energy, and fighting inflammation.
Beetroots are also called blood turnips. They are low in sodium and fat and are good sources of folate and hence support mental and emotional health.
Beets also contain vitamin K (blood clotting properties) and calcium (for strong bones and teeth). They are also rich in fiber, and some believe that including them in the diet may help with weight loss.

Oats Chilla:
Russian Chicken Salad:
Ingredients:
Beetroots : 2 to 3
Potatoes : 2 to 3
Curd : 1/2 Cup
Salt – 1 Teaspoon
Chaat Masala: ½ Tea spoon
Black pepper powder: ¼ Tea spoon
FOR TADKA
Asafetida – 1 pinch
Cumin Seeds – 1 Teaspoon
Mustard Seeds – 1 Teaspoon
Curry Leaves: 7 to 8
Green Chilies – 1 to 2
Oil for fry
Steps:
1. Boil 2 beetroots and 2-3 potatoes for 10 mins.
2. Peel and Grate beetroots.
3. Peel and cut boiled potatoes into cubes.
4. Take mixing bowl and add grated beetroots and potatoes.
5. Add half cup of curd.
6. Add salt ½ tea spoon
7. Add black pepper powder ¼ tea spoon
8. Add chaat masala ½ tea spoon
9. Mix it well
10. Prepare tadka – take 2-3 tea spoon of olive oil.
11. Add mustard seeds ,cumin seeds, curry leaves and 2-3 green chillies in tadka.
12. Mix the tadka in salad.
