Impulse snacking is the enemy of almost every weight loss solution or attempt. Even a little junk food can have a big impact on your weight loss goals. If you feel that hunger attack come on between meals, it’s helpful to have a glass of water or a calorie-free drink. Of course, we’re not saying you shouldn’t ever snack between meals, it just means you have to be smarter about it now that yo have a Lap Band System.
If you find that you need a snack between meals, listen to you body, plan for it, and have a high protein, low calorie, low carb snack. If you feel especially hungry between meals, you might need to call your doctor. Your Lap Band might not be adjusted adequately.
Overall, snacking isn’t so bad–just try not to make it a habit and make sure you have a healthy go-to snack between meals and don’t give into your sugary cravings!
