Today I have come up with a tasty recipe for uttapam which is a south Indian dish.
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
1. Sooji – 1 Cup
2. Curd (Dahi) – 1/2 Cup
3. Water – 1 Cup
4. Chopped Onions – 2 medium-sized
5. Chopped Capsicum – 1/4th Cup
6.Chopped Carrot – 1/4th Cup
7. Grated Ginger – 1 inch
8. Grated Garlic clove – 5-6
9. Chopped Curry Leaves – 6-7
10. Chopped Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoon
11. Salt – 1 1/2 teaspoon or as per taste
12. Oil
METHOD:
1. Add sooji and curd in a bowl. Mix well.
2. Now add water. Mix well.
—————Cover it and keep it aside for 10 mins—————
3. Now, add onion, capsicum, carrot, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt and mix them properly.
4. Take dosa tava and keep it on slow to medium flame.
5. Brush the tava with 1 teaspoon oil
6. Spread a sufficient amount of batter on it. add 1 teaspoon oil in the corner of the uttapam and 1 teaspoon on it.
7. Cover it with a plate for 2-3 mins. Then remove the plate and turn it upside down and again cook it for 2-3 mins.
8. Transfer it to a serving plate and enjoy it.
Aam ras enhances the flavour of uttapam.
