Sourdough Monay. Recipe below. #shorts

2 tbsp melted butter
2 or sugar
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup water – only put all of these if dough is too dry
1 cup sourdough starter – use 3/4 cup milk or water if you don’t have sourdough starter.
4 cups unbleached white flour
1/4 cup red pfife flour(optional can substitute regular flour)
1 1/2 tsp yeast
1 1/12 tsp salt

I used a bread maker to combine all ingredients. If you don’t have a bread maker you can use mixer or just mix them manually. If using bread maker, set it to white dough(with no baking) and let it finish the 1:50 cycle. Remove the dough from bread maker, put it in an oiled bowl, cover with towel and let it sit for at least 30 minutes in a warm dark place. This will make at least 24 rolls, separate into 24 pieces. Cover with towel and let rise for at least 30 minutes in a warm dark place. Pre-heat oven to 275 F, brush rolls with egg wash. Bake for 10 minutes then turn pan around and cook for another 10-12 minutes until desired brownness is achieved. Let it cool down and enjoy!
