Hello Foodies ,
This is our second recipe in series ” TASTE BHI HEALTH BHI”. Stuffed Moong Dal chilla recipe is very popular as snack recipe in marriage parties. It is very healthy option to make your children eat dal ( if they are fussy about it , like mine). Moong Dal chilla is very light on calories also can be eaten as any meal( breakfast, snack,lunch,dinner ) .
Ingredient List :
Green Gram Pulse ( without skin, Moong dal Dhuli hui) : 2 CUP
Garlic Cloves : 5-6 (optional)
Gram Flour (Besan): 2 Tbsp
Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder : 1 tsp
All spice Mix (Garam Masala) : 1 tsp
Salt : 1 tsp ( or to taste)
Oil to toast : 2 tsp
For filling :
Oil : 1 tbsp
Asafeotida( Hing ) : 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp
Cottage Cheese ( Paneer ) : 150 gms ( cut in cubes)
Pea : 1/2 CUP ( Boiled and Cooked)
Salt: 1tsp
Red Chilli Powder: 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala : 1/2 tsp
Chat Masala : 1 tsp
Ginger and Coriander ( add if available)
These simple ingredients make awesome chilla. Try this recipe.
