Recipe:
What your need:
DRESSING:
– 1/2 cup mayo
– 2 T pickles, diced
– 2 tsp yellow mustard
– 1 tsp white vinegar
– 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
– 1 1/2 T honey
– 1 lb Ground beef
– 1 tsp Sea salt
– 1/4 tsp Black pepper
– 8 oz Romaine lettuce, chopped (or iceberg lettuce if desired)
– 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
– 1/4 -1/2 cup diced white onion
– 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup pickles, diced
– sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
What you’ll do:
1. Brown the ground beef, over medium heat
2. Blend together the dressing ingredients (I used my immersion blender); put the dressing in the fridge until you are ready to serve the salad
3. Prep the rest of your salad ingredients and toss together in a large bowl
4. Add the cooked ground beef, and toss it all together
5. If you are serving the entire salad, right away, drizzle all of the dressing over the salad and toss; if you are going to have leftovers of the salmon, I recommend adding dressing only to the portions, that you serve (i.e. serve yourself a portion of the salad ingredients, and then drizzle the dressing over just your serving)
6. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired
7. Enjoy!
