Ingredients for the batter:-
1.5 cup curd
1/4 cup besan
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp haldi
1/2 tsp red chili powder
3 cups water (blend everything into smooth batter)
Tadka:-
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp methi seeds
1/2 tsp saunf/ fennel seeds
2 green chilies, cut into halves
1 inch ginger, grated
2 clove/laung
2 bay leaves
1/4 tsp hing
10-12 curry leaves
🍃Heat oil in a pan then add all the tadka ingredients mentioned above and sauté for 20-25 seconds.
🍃Add curd besan mixture. Cook the mixture while stirring continuously until it comes to a boil.
🍃Turn the heat to medium low heat and cook the mixture for 25-30 minutes, stir occasionally. Adjust the consistency.
🍃Now add 1 cup dry boondi, 1 tsp kasoori methi and mix. Turn the heat off.
🍃Heat 1-2 tbsp ghee in a tadka pan, add 2 dry red chilies and 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder, pour over the Kadhi. Garnish with some coriander leaves. Serve hot and enjoy!
