With just one base dough make slight alterations to make 5 different varieties of cookies… Children’s would love these healthy cookies.
Ingredients for base dough:
* Unsalted butter – 500 gm
* Wheat flour – 3 cup ( 1/2 cup extra if needed)
* Brown sugar – 1 3/4 cup – 2 cup ( depending on ur liking)
* Flax egg – 4 tbsp flax seed powder + 8 tbsp water ( mix and keep aside for 10 mins)
* Rock salt – 1/2 TSP
* Baking soda – 1 TSP
* Baking powder – 2 TSP
* Vanilla Custard powder – 1/2 cup
* Corn flour – 4 tbsp
* Milk powder – 2 tbsp
* Vanilla essence – 2 tsp
1.spritz cookie:
* Use the base dough to pipe cookie of desired shapes
2. Linzer cookie :
* Base dough – 1 cup
* Almond flour – 1/2 cup
* Wheat flour – 1/4 cup
You can add 3/4 cup almond flour and skip wheat flour
3. Nutty cookie :
* Base dough – 1 cup
* Chopped nuts – 1/2 cup
* Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
4. Vanilla cookie
* Base dough – 1/2 of remaining base dough
* Wheat flour – 1/3 cup
5. Chocolate cookie
* Base dough – remaining
* Cocoa powder – 2 – 3 tbsp
* Wheat flour – 2 tbsp
6. Pinwheel
* Vanilla cookie dough
* Chocolate cookie dough
