Hey everybody what’s going on Welcome Back to the channel so today’s video I’ve got a new recipe I’ve never even tried it before myself it is a recipe I found on Pinterest and it’s called I wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget uh it is an Italian turkey zucchini Skillet TJ

Likes to make fun of these recipes where the name is just a list of ingredients it’s not like an actual name whatever I didn’t come up with it but anyway so we’re going to try it here together and let me show you uh the list of ingredients that we’re going to be

Using okay so for this recipe you’re going to need just one pound of turkey so I’ve got the 85% lean ground turkey a Purple Onion I like to call it Purple Onion cuz that’s in fact what it is a red bell pepper now the zuc the um

Recipe calls for two zucchinis but I’m just going to use one cuz I feel like two just sounds like it’s too too many um but anyway you’re going to need some tomato sauce some avocado oil or olive oil if that’s all you have minced garlic paprika parsley garlic powder which I’m

Really hoping I can just use the rest of this so I can get rid of this container um we’re going to use some sea salt some black pepper and Italian seasoning all right y’all so the first thing that we’re going to do well I’m going to actually chop up these vegetables first

And then I’m going to get out the skillet and and then you’re going to Brown the ground turkey then you’re going to add your seasoning so let’s go ahead and get Started So we got our Turkey already cooked through so now we’re going to add in I’ve got all of our spices right here and what I have here is 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning half a teaspoon of salt half a teaspoon of pepper half a teaspoon of garlic powder and half a

Teaspoon of paprika so I’ve got all of that already prepped in here so we’re just going to go ahead and sprinkle this in going to go ahead and mix it into our Turkey okay this is actually looking really pretty so now what we’re going to go ahead and do is that we’re just going to remove this from the pan I’m going to put it in a separate Bowl set it aside we’re going to add some olive oil in

There and we’re going to start cooking our Vegetables okay we’re going to add in 2 teaspoons of some minced garlic one teaspoon of Italian Seasoning about half a teaspoon of salt about half a teaspoon of pepper and we’re just going to go ahead and mix this in and sauté it for about 5 minutes Now that our veggies have been cooking for the past 6 minutes we’re going to go ahead and add our turkey back into the skillet give that a good mix And then we’re going to go ahead and add in 3/4 cup of tomato sauce just going to add a little bit more salt just a Sprinkle because he added tomato sauce so and get a little bit of pepper and then I think this part is optional if

You want to but if you want to add in some crushed red pepper you can go ahead and do so now I’m not going to do too much cuz not everybody likes crushed red pepper as much as I do but just going to go ahead and stir that all [Applause]
