A popular Indian street food turned incomforting soup! Here’s a simple Maggie Masala Soup Recipe:
*Ingredients:*
– 2 packets Maggie Masala Noodles (or any other brand)
– 4 cups water
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 1 small onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 small carrot, chopped (optional)
– 1 celery stalk, chopped (optional)
– 1 teaspoon ginger paste
– 1 teaspoon cumin powder
– 1 teaspoon coriander powder
– 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
– Salt, to
– Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
*Instructions:*
1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onion, garlic, carrot, and celery (if using). Cook until the vegetables are tender.
3. Add ginger paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder (if using). Cook for 1 minute.
4. Add 4 cups of water and bring to a boil.
5. Add the Maggie Masala Noodles seasoning packet (from the noodle packet) to the boiling water. Stir well.
6. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
7. Add the Maggie noodles to the soup and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked.
8. Season with salt to taste.
9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped cilantro.
