Ingredients:
– For the Tikkis:
– 30g soya chunks (boiled and blended)
– 60g boiled potato
– Salt, red chilli powder, black pepper (to taste)
– ½ tbsp corn starch
– 1 tsp ghee (for cooking)
– For the Sauce:
– 100g low-fat paneer
– 3 tbsp curd
– 1 dried red chilli (soaked)
– 1 garlic clove
– Juice of ½ lemon
– For the Salad:
– ½ medium bell pepper (sliced)
– ½ medium carrot (grated or julienned)
– 1 small tomato (diced)
– ½ small onion (sliced)
Steps:
1. Prepare the Tikkis:
– In a mixing bowl, combine boiled soya chunks, boiled potato, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper, and corn starch.
– Shape the mixture into small tikkis.
– Heat a pan, add ghee, and cook the tikkis on both sides until golden and crispy.
2. Make the Sauce:
– Blend soaked red chilli, paneer, curd, garlic, and lemon juice into a smooth paste. Adjust salt if needed.
3. Assemble the Salad:
– In a bowl, add bell pepper, carrot, onion, and tomato.
– Place the crispy tikkis on top and crush them slightly.
– Drizzle with the prepared sauce and toss gently.
4. Serve:
– Enjoy your high-protein spicy salad as a wholesome meal!
